This elaborate pictorial deck was published by the venerable firm Piatnik, from Vienna and Budapest. There’s a lot of drama in this depiction of Falseness, but it doesn’t look like beneficial drama.

there is a lot going on which I don’t understand in this card. Maybe that’s why people take advantage of me? I’d like to know more about the golden pillow hanging from the window which is the same color as the bird…perhaps it’s a feather pillow?

The fortune telling art is often puzzling. Maybe it was meant to impress the sitter. The pillow has me stumped too.
