An excellent prayer. There are definitely worse things one could say upon getting into or out of bed, or discovering one didn’t have a bed.

That’s an idea. DeCasseres seemed to most enjoy Beethoven and Chopin, by the way: he called himself “the Beethoven of Negation.”

‘Tis an idea. There’s a lot in The Shadow-Eater,Anathema! and Black Suns that could be recited to music.

I believe Mamie was suggesting that I set it as a song or choral work, since I compose music. And it is an interesting idea…
