Another artist works away in another edition of “Old Maid.”  This deck is contemporary; it has no indication of date or publisher; it’s cheaply printed.  And here’s that Old Maid:

both of these gals have a heavy hand with the lipstick application….or maybe they both work at the MAC cosmetic counter at Henri Bendel. I like how the old Maid’s red “beard” and scarf all are tied together with a nice red ribbon.

it’s kind of tragic that artist annie is crosseyed.

Maybe Artist Annie has special abilities with stereoscopic imaging because of her crossed eyes.

Check out those Birkenstocks – Annie is a hippie to be sure! Then again, her painting has obvious Abstract Expressionist influences. Maybe Annie is an artist with an identity crisis.
