Children’s Card Games (63)

This week’s entry is an enigma, I’m afraid: an orphaned card, retrieved from a box of miscellaneous ephemera.  The rather oddly shaped swimmer obviously comes from some old game, but what?

She did not arrive unescorted; this troublesome bird is clearly from the same deck.

Curious! Is the bird reading the story about the baby he just dumped? Is it a baby dump address book?

there must be a “moral tale” in the upper left hand corner. Maybe the name of the deck is called: “What happened on the Boardwalk stays on the Boardwalk”…. a pre-Vegas campaign….?

There were a couple of other cards from the deck in the same box: one shows a (female) tightrope walker, another a beer stein. All very mysterious.
